About Us

The Cherry Tree is a charming bed and breakfast hotel circa 1901 capturing Edwardian elegance and style.

We offer high quality and stylish en-suite accommodation and all our rooms have been renovated to offer relaxation and complete comfort in warm and friendly surroundings. Rooms for all include: singles, twins, doubles and king size beds all with crisp cotton linens, flat screen tv, central heating, hospitality tray, treats, water, eco friendly toiletries and fluffy towels. There are spare blankets and pillows too. Please call for extra child  bed or cot requirements. 

We are fully committed to making The Cherry Tree as environment friendly as possible with sustainable produce,  plastic free, bio chemicals and smart energy choices.

Ideally situated in the lower meads area of Eastbourne, just 2 mins from the seafront, university, colleges, conference centre, theatres, galleries, pubs and restaurants; a 15 minute walk will take you into Eastbourne town centre, railway station and bus terminus.

We are always happy to help with signposting to points of local interest on and off the beaten track, and maps and information guides are available .

The Cherry Tree is an ideal launch pad to explore the South Downs national park, Beachy head and Seven Sisters, all within a short hike right from the front door.

Continental breakfast is included in the B&B price and we are happy to cater for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and diary free diets . Please specify when booking.

Relax in our superb lounge 24 hours of the day, with complimentary tea and coffee and enjoy books, games and toys.

Please pre-book any early luggage arrivals to ensure secure drop off can be facilitated.

Check-in and Check-out

We operate face-to-face check in from 2pm until 6pm. 

Arrival after 6pm is self-check-in (details will be emailed to you before arrival).

Check-out is 10:30am.

Building Access

Due to the style and age of the building we unfortunately do not have a ramped entrance or lift. We have a ground floor bedroom with an en-suite wet room.
