Eastbourne is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag Award for its beaches and seafront.You will find it suitable for all the family. Coastguards are on duty in the summer months and there are special areas with coloured wrist bands for children to play safely.
Along the seafront promenade you'll find continental style cafes as well as traditional fish &chip outlets. Don't forget to call at the famous beach store Perrywinkles selling fresh fish and fruit. Also for fish lovers Eastbourne has its own fish market shop along the eastern promenade open 7 days a week.
The Cherry Tree Guesthouse is an ideal location for walkers and ramblers. You can stroll along Eastbourne's renowned flat promenade that stretches six miles from Holywell, and the Italian Gardens, to the Sovereign Harbour and marina. For the more enthusiastic walker there's Beachy Head with it's stunning views, Seven Sisters Country Park and walks to Birling Gap or through Friston Woods.
For sports lovers there are 11 golf courses within a 10-mile radius of The Cherry Tree Guesthouse, tennis, squash, bowls, deep sea fishing, tenpin bowling, go-karting, laser quest, cycling and horse riding are all nearby.
