"Our Cherry Tree" The Cherry Tree in the Guesthouses front garden is very young and just starting to get established.We believe it was planted in 2002/3.It is just coming into bud and we're optmisitic it will flourish this year. As for producing some cherries - we'll just have to wait and see - but my guess is its early days !!

The world needs trees

Since 1930 nearly half of our ancient woodland has been lost. Native birds, butterflies, insects and plants all depend on our woodland systems to survive. Trees provide shade, cut down on noise and reduce airborne pollution.

We all need trees
Trees make a landscape both more beautiful and more varied as well as providing environmental benefits and supporting other life forms.
