Travel Connect Review the Cherry Tree Eastbourne has an endless supply of accommodation ranging from homely B&B’s to grand hotels, as well as friendly hostels. One highly recommended location, is The Cherry Tree bed and breakfast, owned by the knowledgeable and welcoming Carol Butler. Carol bought The Cherry Tree four years ago- turning around the failing business into a stunning 4-star Guesthouse and won the title of Small Business of the Year in 2006- a testament to her work. The Cherry Tree guesthouse sits in Silverdale Road and is a short walk from both the seafront and the main town. On approaching the B&B an arrangement of beautiful flowers, greenery and of course a young cherry tree runs side by side the tall steps which lead you to the front door of the guesthouse. Inside you immediately feel at home. The traditional English décor, carpeted floor and warm lighting creates a cosy atmosphere and one you’ll be eager not to leave. The rooms are delightfully decorated, equipped with an en suite bathroom, and facilities for making hot drinks such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate- the lot. While downstairs, near the B&B entrance and main reception sits a large lounge free for all guests to relax in. Guests can expect comfy seats, an impressive stack of videos to watch and an intriguing assortment of books. Chole Addo from Travel Connect |
